James Kevin George

James Kevin “Jimmy, Jammer” George, 47, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016, as a result of a health issue he has had. He was born in Morgantown on July 7, 1969, the son of the late Haymond George and Marie Inez Ripple George. For many years he drove truck over the road as employment and then went to work driving truck for J B Hunt and Percy Cale Trucking. Also worked for Robbie Christopher, his final place of employment and his favorite was driving for Hard Rock Trucking. Jimmy loved just about anything that had to do with the outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding 4 wheeler’s and in his younger days got into mud bogging. He also loved sitting in his recliner after a long day surrounded by his cats that he loved and cherished with all his heart. These cats will sure miss him. He is survived by his son Haymond William George and wife Lacey, brothers and spouses, Erwin High and Wanda, Bradley “Squirrel” George and Willa, Daniel George and companion Linda Watson all of Morgantown, John George and Libby of PA; sister Helen & CT Rodeheaver of Kingwood; nieces and nephews: Amanda George Robinson and husband John, Melissa, George Schell, Candy Woods and husband Teddy, Danielle George and Emily George, Crystal Elainie, Steve Rodeheaver, Joe High, Rick High, Thomas George, David George, Jr., John George, Jr and Charlie Loulis and his cats Mama, Pete, Shy, Mousie and Tom. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy George and Anna Georges; brother, David “Doc” George and his one of a kind loving companion for over 20 years, Amy Brown; nephew-in-law, Jeffrey Allen “Jeff” Schell. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown Wednesday, August 24th from 6-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, August 25th from 10a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11a.m. In accordance with his wishes, cremation services will follow.
