Jean Louise Siebert, 60, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at her home in Morgantown, West Virginia, from natural causes. She was born on July 8, 1958 in Elkins, West Virginia to Kathryn Sue Siebert and Harry Lee Siebert. She lived in Price (UT), Lake Tahoe (CA), Missoula (MT), Los Angeles (CA), and Tucson (AZ), prior to moving to Morgantown in 1995. She held a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from University of Montana, a master’s degree in library science from UCLA, and an MBA from West Virginia University. She held jobs as a pharmacist in Los Angeles and a medical school librarian at the University of Arizona, followed by 21 years as a reference librarian at the WVU Health Sciences Library. Jean enjoyed reading, listening to music, and sports—especially WVU football. She will be remembered for her love of animals, her generous and gift-giving spirit, and her keen interest in the lives of her friends. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father, Harry, of Missoula, Montana; her sister, Janet, of Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, and her family; her uncle, Bill Haynes, of Pleasanton, California, and his family; and many cousins, and their families. Services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Erickson Alumni Center at WVU, with Rev. (and cousin) Johnna Faber officiating.
