Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott Warnick, 53, of Morgantown, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Jeff was born in Morgantown on February 6, 1964, the son of the late Dale and Rosella Warnick. Jeff graduated from University High School in 1982. He went on to work at Laurita excavating until he was involved in a car accident that forced his retirement in 2008. Jeff was an avid hunter, Steelers fan, hockey fan, and enjoyed spending time in his garden. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Warnick; children, Gina and Derrick Field, Jeffery Scott Jr., and Bradley Aaron Warnick; grandchildren, Nathan, Megan, Carson, Sylas, Luke, and Richard; sisters, Susan Lundberg and husband Robert, RoseAnn and husband Bill Tennant; brother, Roger Dale and Regina Warnick; father-in-law, Richard Salisbury; mother-in-law Gladys Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews. Also, Jeff is survived by bother-in-laws, whom he loved. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by Evelyn Salisbury and one daughter, Melody Dawn Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14, from 4 PM until the time of the service at 8 PM with Pastor Eldon Mayle Jr. officiating.
