Joan Elizabeth Mccauley

Joan McCauley, 84, of Morgantown, WV passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Valentine Personal Care Home in Elkins, WV. Joan was born in Clarksburg, WV on November 26, 1932, the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Kopson Matko. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and enjoyed her time as Secretary at Beth Barnes School of Dance. In addition to her parents Joan is preceded in death by her husband Gary McCauley. Joan is survived by a son Mark R. McCauley and wife Mila McCauley; two grandchildren Tina and husband Wayne Walcott and Christian McCauley. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 1pm until the time of Christian Burial Service at 2pm with Father Carlos L. Melocoton, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Clarksburg, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joan’s memory to St. Luke Catholic Church, 19 Jo Glen Drive, Morgantown, WV 26508.
