John Defabio

John Joe DeFabio, 98, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Mon Health Medical Center. He was born in Morgantown, on May 23, 1921, the son of the late Guerino DeFabio and Eda DeFabio. John is survived by children, Margaret Michaels and husband, Richard, and Johnny DeFabio and wife, Gerri; grandchildren, Matthew Marchinetti, Jack Marchinetti, Jennifer Hatch and husband, Michael; Angela Thompson and husband, Nicholas; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma (Ryan) DeFabio; two brothers, Mike DeFabio and Geno DeFabio; and one sister, Angelina DeFabio. In accordance with his wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at Spruce Street United Methodist Church, 386 Spruce Street, on Friday, January 10, 2020, at 11 a.m., with Reverend Neil Leftwich officiating.
