Joseph George Jacobs

Joseph George Jacobs, Jr, 50, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. He was born in Ft. Knox, KY on February 3, 1965, the son of the late Joseph George Jacobs, Sr. and Cassandra Jane (Kennedy) Henry. He served one tour of duty in Iraq with the 201st in the United States Army. He is survived by his children, Matthew Jacobs of Columbus, Cory Jacobs of Morgantown, and Kaitlyn Jacobs of Morgantown; siblings, Richard Jacobs and his wife Ellen of Morgantown, Barbara Forbes and her husband Nathan of French Creek, and Ronald Lamar and girlfriend Kandace Collins of Parkersburg; grandmother, Dolores Kennedy of Morgantown; and his former wife, Pam Jacobs of Fairmont. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his grandfather, Melford Kennedy. Friends and family are invited to attend a committal service at the WV National Cemetery, 42 Veterans Lane, Grafton on Thursday, January 7th at 1 PM with Nathan Forbes officiating.
