Joshua Forest White

Listen to Obituary

Joshua Forest White (White) born July 6th, 1996, was a devoted husband, father, brother, son and friend who passed away unexpectedly at home on July 13th, 2025 at the age of 29. All Josh ever wanted was to be a dad and husband that loved, protected and provided for his family and he went above and beyond to give everything he had. He made it his mission to bring laughter to any situation.

He was 3 years into finishing a bachelor's degree in Nature Conservation and Natural Resources with an Associates Degree in Welding Technology. He was also an ordained Dudiest Priest, yes you read that correctly. He was a Retired Army Veteran with an Honorable Discharge. He served his country proudly in the U.S. and Afghanistan.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jody White.

Joshua is survived by his loving wife, Darian White and son/pride of his life, Dean White; mother, Saleena McElroy and her husband Kevin,; father, Jason White and his wife, Elizabeth; sisters, Amber and Hannah White; brothers, Forest Harman and River White; as well as his grandmother, Cheryl Alkire; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, which include his Brothers and Sister in Arms: Erhondae Hayes, Brandon Villanueva, Josh Voiles, William, Espana, Joe Ceja, Gabriel Rivera, James Tuite, Steven Crawford, Ryan O’hara, Rodolfo Montelogno (Monte), Caroline Butler, Julian Medina, Captain Do, & Justin Young, as well as his good friends, Zachary Friend and Jesse Coe.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, hiking, traveling, gaming, music, collecting guns, reading, making people laugh, having a good time, wrestling with Dean, and spending time with friends and family.

The amount of people that love and cherish Josh is a testament to the amazing person he was and always will be. Please remember him for the ridiculous laughs, good music he provided and how much he adored his family. He was worth more than words could ever say.

If Josh was still here, he’d say, “When I’m dead, just throw me in the trash.” -Frank Reynolds
