Juanita Bukrim

Juanita Viola Bukrim, 76, of Wades Road, Morgantown, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 17, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family. Juanita was born in Dellslow on December 20, 1934, a daughter of the late Theodore and Emma (McKinney) Hilling.She loved the Lord and she loved her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking for others, crocheting lap blankets for nursing home patients and restoring and dressing discarded baby dolls which she would donate to childrenâs charities. Survivors include her children, Michael F. Bukrim of Morgantown, Karen Hott and husband George of Highview, WV and Sharon Bukrim Weaver and husband Patrick of Morgantown five grandchildren, Kelly Bukrim, Michael Bukrim, Matthew Bukrim and wife, Lindsey all of Morgantown, Kasey Hott and Molly Hott of Highview, WV a sister Pearl Cooley of Morgantown as well as many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Joseph Bukrim on September 14, 2003 two sisters Virginia Orsky and Naomi Kerns and an infant brother, Forrest Hilling.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 5-8p.m. on Thursday, May 19th. On Friday, May 20th, Mrs. Bukrim will be moved to Nicholson Chapel Church, Summers School Rd., Morgantown where visitation will continue from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am with Pastor Dan Meadows and nephew, Charles Ray Hilling officiating. Interment will follow in Nicholson Chapel Cemetery, Morgantown.
