Julia Howard

Julia “Judy” Mae Howard, 79, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born July 23, 1940, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Harold “Ike” and Mabel (Dunfee) Howard. Judy was formerly employed as an Administrative Assistant at Jeffrey Mining and Manufacturing. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and was very family-oriented. She is survived by her siblings, James L. Howard and his wife Lynn Anne, Jane Conaway Kirk, and Jo Ellen Rodeheaver and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, cremation services will be provided. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., on Thursday, September 12th from 5-8 and again on Friday, September 13th from 10 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11 AM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Private inurnment will take place at a later time at Lawnwood Cemetery.
