Justin Victor Vasquez

Justin Vasquez, 44, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020. He was born on December 29, 1975, the son of Mary Eileen (Baine) Vasquez and Victor Manuel Vasquez. Justin loved life and wanted to share that with everyone he knew. He was always the life of the party and loved having fun. He was friendly and loving to everyone that he came into contact with and never knew a stranger. He was the light and love of everyone around him. He will be missed by all that knew him. He was also known as a great chef, having worked for a long time at The Glasshouse Grille. He was currently a chef at The Flying Fish but has also worked at many other restaurants including Boston Beanery, Atomic Grill, and Longhorn Steakhouse, among others. He married Tara Davis in 1995 and they later divorced. He never remarried but was currently engaged to Molly Knotts. He is survived by two daughters, Tori Marion and Elissa Caitlyn; mother, Mary Vasquez; father, Victor Manuel Vasquez; and brother, Dylan John Vasquez. In accordance with his wishes, Hastings Funeral Home will provide cremation services and a private memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
