Katherine Louise Beatty

Katherine Louise Pickenpaugh Beatty, 94, of the Cheat Neck Community went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. She was born July 30, 1926, daughter of the late Thomas and Avy Pickenpaugh. She was a loving homemaker, an excellent cook, and a treasure to family and friends. Katherine was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family. Her life is an example to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Katherine is survived by three children, Charles Eugene Beatty and wife, Mary Alice, of Heathsville, VA , Linda Sue Morrell and husband, Joseph Douglas, of Piney Flats, TN and Kathy Jaye Wasco of Gray, TN; six grandchildren, Brendan Beatty of Waldorf, MD, Bevin Beatty of Waldorf, MD, Paul Morrell of Maryville, TN, Kimberly Parker and husband, Jason, of Alma, AR, Matthew Wasco and wife, Nicolette, of Moyock, NC, and Rachel McAlister and husband, David, of Gray, TN. She was also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Katherine is preceded in death by by her husband, Junior Paul Beatty, and brothers James and Charles Pickenpaugh. Hastings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
