Katherine Bellay

Katherine Bellay, 98, of Star City, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Golden Living Center. Katherine was born in Greyâs Landing, PA on October 25, 1912, the daughter of the late Alex and Mary Bakos Bellay. She was a member of St. Maryâs Russian Orthodox Church. Katherine will be dearly missed by a niece, a nephew and her extended family and close friends. She is survived by a brother, Michael Bellay of Star City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Bellay formerly of Midland, PA and Joseph Bellay formerly of Charleston. To honor Ms. Bellay wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at East Oak Grove Cemetery with Reverend Father Matthew Stagon officiating.
