Kathryn Oliverio

Kathryn J. âNunnieâ Oliverio, 96, of, Star City, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family.Kathryn was born in Owens, WV on September 13, 1914, the daughter of the late Sam and Filomena Sellaro Lovio.She worked at Davis and Lynch Glass Factory until her retirement. She loved to cook on Sundayâs and feed anyone who would stop by the house. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters Mary Frances Rivenbark and husband, Jimmy, Philomena âMenaâ Ryan and husband, Dick, Patricia âPattyâ Reid and husband, Herman, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Samuel Oliverio, a daughter, Jean LeFevere as well as her 9 brothers and sisters making her the last surviving member of her immediate family.Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 5-9pm on Wednesday, March 16, and from 9-10am on Thursday, March 17. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10am Thursday, with Reverend Clara Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Cemetery, Morgantown.
