Kathy Stockett

Kathy Ann (Drake) Stockett, 62, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at her residence. Kathy was born in Morgantown, on October 8, 1956, the daughter of her surviving mother, Gracie Margaret (Eddy) Drake, and daughter of the late Clayton Paul Drake, Sr. She graduated from University High School. She was known by her family to be a very loving and caring homemaker and was a very proud mother in the raising of her children. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, John L. Stockett, Jr.; children, John Bohon and wife, Tonya, John L. Stockett, III, and fiance, Bryanna Hunt, William Paul Stockett and wife, Jess, and daughter, Julie Maust and husband, Brent; grandchildren, Mitchell Maust, Morgan Bohon, John Bohon, II, Gunner Bohon and Aubrey Stockett; sisters, Paula Cole, and husband, Brian, and Linda Brosky and husband, John; brother, Paul Drake, Jr., and wife, Judy; father-in-law, John L. Stockett, Sr.; several nieces and nephews, along with numerous sister and brother-in-laws. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Ruby Stockett. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Tuesday, December 18th from 3-8 pm and again on Wednesday, December 19th from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am with Pastor Janice Smith officiating.
