Kenneth Paul Smith

Kenneth P. Smith, born August 3, 1942, in New Brighton, PA to Marshall and Naomi Smith, passed away on February 28, 2022.

He is survived by his sister, Bonnie; nieces Michele and Andrea; his two sons Mark and Tim Smith, their wives; and five grandchildren.

Ken loved southern gospel and Motown music, the Steelers, and the Mountaineers, and was passionate about ministering to kids in youth groups and Sunday school. He was very generous and hardworking and will be missed by many.

In accordance with his wishes, Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Tuesday, March 15th from 5 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. with remarks from longtime friend, Larry Morgan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CMA Church of Morgantown Youth Group at 308 Elmhurst St. Morgantown, WV 26505.
