Kenneth "Doug" Smith, 68, of Morgantown, WV, formerly of Charleston, passed away on Feb. 2, 2019, from complications of a motorcycle accident in Florida. Doug was survived by his loving girlfriend, Debbie Morgan, of Morgantown; mother, Sue Wilkinson, and stepfather, Dave Wilkinson, of Charleston; son, Robbie Smith, of Hurricane; daughter, Kiersten Smith, of Independence, LA; sister, Pam Weaver, of Charleston; and granddaughter, Annale Vest, of Charleston. Doug was preceded in death by his father, Robert Smith, of Charleston; brother, Michael Smith, of Charleston; and granddaughter, Alexi Vest, of Charleston. Doug spent most of his life riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoying time in the wind with his friends. He worked in law enforcement with several police agencies, Danville PD, Boone County Sheriff Department and West Virginia State Police. He also worked at Appalachian Tire, Quick Delivery & Young Floral.
