Kenneth Wayne Wade

Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Wade, 59, of Morgantown, passed away March 21, 2026 at his home.

Kenny was born on August 10, 1966, the son of the late Clarence Wade and Clara McCreery.

Kenny worked in construction for many years and was known for his strong work ethic. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music, especially heavy metal and Ozzy Osbourne and also attending concerts. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his beloved granddaughter, and his five cats.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Pinkney; granddaughter, Madyson Pinkney; brothers, Rusty McCreery and Randy Wade; sisters, Crystal McCardle, Becky Davenport, and Joyce Long; and close friends, Greg and Hope Burns, and Lori Keslar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as his five cats, Jaspar, Baxter, Thumbs, Binks, and Mufasa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Pinkney, and granddaughter, Caydance Pinkney.

A graveside service will be held at Nicholson Cemetery, 1346 Summers School Rd, Morgantown, on Thursday, March 26th at 11:00 AM.
