Kevin Daft

Kevin Merle Daft, 35, of Morgantown passed away on July 10, 2019. He was born May 4, 1984, son of Joyce Welch Daft and the late Dale Ralph Daft. As a child, he attended Mountainview Elementary where he played basketball. He also enjoyed many road trips with his family. In addition to spending time with family and friends, he liked listening to music, riding dirt bikes with his brothers, and watching Game of Thrones. He worked for Inspection Oilfield Services but was most proud of his children, Haylee and Remy. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Erica L. Candella, Christy Lamar, Shelia Dart-Fuentes, and Kelly Passalaqua; brothers, Joseph (Bubba) Daft, Dale Rae Daft, Jamie (Chub) Welch, and Richard (Scott) Welch. He is preceded in death by his father, Dale Daft; maternal grandmother, Donna Welch; great grandmother, Lillian Welch; fraternal grandparents, Otto, and Christine Daft; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. According to the families wishes cremation services have been provided by Hastings Funeral Home. Family and friends will be received at Goshen Baptist Church 1070 Goshen Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508, Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
