Lillian Klein

Lillian Klein, 100, passed away on October 17,2026 at Heritage Pointe in Morgantown, WV.

She was born on January 6, 1926, in New York, NY, a daughter of the late Israel Ficks and Bessie (Smerling) Ficks. She grew up in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Lillian dedicated her career to caring for others, serving as a nurse at WVU Hospitals for over 30 years with the majority of that time acting as head nurse in the ICU.

In her spare time until the very end she loved playing Mahjong and Bridge with her friends.

She is survived by her son, Robert Klein and his wife Lana who she loved like a daughter; her son-in-law Dennis Dalton; her grandchildren, Laurie Warner and her husband, Brian, Kenneth Klein and his wife, Lisa, and Jennifer Bonner and her husband, Eric; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Max and Lilly Warner, Jacob and Melanie Klein, and Sophie and Madison Bonner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Klein and daughter, Susan Klein Dalton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rosenbaum House and WVU Medicine Hospice.
