Lillian Virginia Rinaldi

Lillian V Rinaldi, 91, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday July 25, 2017 In Cary North Carolina. Lillian was born in Morgantown on July 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Frank and Marianna Petitte. She worked for the WVU Extension Service for 50 plus years in accounting. She loved playing Bingo, was an avid cook and wonderful bargain shopper. Her Italian family dinners of gnocchi and ravioli will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Aldo J Rinaldi. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Cowan and husband Michael; grandson Alexander Cowan and granddaughter Jillian Cochran and husband Jimmie; great-grandchildren Declan and Everly Cochran (all of North Carolina); brothers George Petitte and Robert Petitte of Morgantown along with several nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Sunday, July 30, from 1PM-4PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Monday, July 31st at 11AM at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with Father John V. DiBacco as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum.
