Linda Gail Mcghee Hepler

Linda McGhee Hepler, 79, of Morgantown, died Monday, June 27, 2016, following a brief illness. She was born in Huntington on May 14, 1937, the daughter of the late Claude and Evelyn McGhee. Linda taught in several public school systems including Barbour County where she was a language arts teacher. She loved reading, writing and painting, but above all, she dearly loved and cared for her family and friends. Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dick Hepler, two daughters: Lori Hepler of Morgantown and Beth Miller (Tim) of Ashburn, VA; a son, Mark Hepler of Morgantown; three grandchildren: Rachele Doiron, Caitlin and Ethan Miller; a great-granddaughter, Rileigh Doiron; and a brother, Claude McGhee (Jackie). A Graveside Service will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, 1290 Fairmont Road, Morgantown on Friday, July 1, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Valerie J. Gittings officiating. A Memorial Service celebrating Linda’s life in Christ will be held at the First Baptist Church of Morgantown, 432 High St, on Saturday, July 9th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Valerie J. Gittings officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Linda’s memory to a charity of one’s choosing. Linda’s family is deeply grateful to all who cared and prayed for her during her recent illness. Hastings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
