Loretta Lee

Rev. Loretta Mae Kirkendall Lee, 85, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at her home. She was born December 25, 1934 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Edward Lloyd and Wanda Powley Kirkendall. Rev. Lee was a member of the Star City Christian Assembly Church. She was a minister and pastored in many of the churches in the Morgantown area. She was a member of the Isaac Walton Conservation League. She is survived by children, Eric Lee and his wife Robin, and Linda Loyan and her husband Ron; siblings, Dan Kirkendall and his wife Nancy, and Betty Sue Pekar and her husband Andy; four grandsons, Reggie Joe Lee, II, Jeffrey Derick Lee, Kevin Anthony Patterson, and Wesley Garett Lee; two great grandsons, and two great great grandsons. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Joe Lee; sons, Arthur Todd Lee, Clifford Lee, Reggie Lee and Jeffrey Lee; and brothers, Paul Donald Kirkendall, Bob Kirkendall, Don Kirkendall, and James Kirkendall. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., on Thursday, January 23rd from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and again on Friday, January 24th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Rev.
