Loretta V Gillum

Loretta Gillum, 91, of Plant City, FL formerly of Morgantown passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Consulate Healthcare- Lake Parker of Lakeland, FL. She was born in Morgantown on July 3, 1925, the daughter of the late William and Phobe (Feathers) Pounds. Loretta retired from Morgan Shirt Factory. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to shop. She spent 35 years in Florida. She is survived by her children, Paul Gillum (Donna) of Morgantown, Virginia Gillum Cook of FL., Sam Gillum of Morgantown, Donnie Gillum of FL, and Mark Gillum (Patricia) of FL; sisters, Bessie Gooding of OH and Charlotte Dusenberry of Morgantown; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and her daughter- in- law, Sandy Willard-Gillum of Morgantown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Gillum, Sr., son, James Gillum, 10 brothers and sisters, grandchildren, Sherry and Roger and daughter-in-law, Karen Gillum. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV Thursday, December 8th from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, December 9th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
