Lorna Lee Hart

Lorna Lee Hart, 92, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025. She was born October 15, 1932 in Morgantown, a daughter to the late Harper James Woods and Sarah Brown Woods.

Lorna spent 17 years working for Monongalia County Schools. She was a faithful and caring Christian who attended Mt. View Pentecostal, Mt. Pleasant Global Methodist, and Word of Life Churches.

She enjoyed traveling, especially taking trips to Amish Country and Pigeon Forge, TN.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Sue Hall (Kenneth “Bud” Hall); grandson, Kenneth Scott Hall (Amy Cullison Hall); great-granddaughters, Sydney Rose Hall (Max Bruce) and Emma Lauren Hall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hart, who passed away July 15, 1975.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Tuesday, July 1st from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, July 2nd from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am, with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
