Louise M. Reppy passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026 at The Lodge at Historic Lewes in Lewes, Delaware. Louise was born on January 27, 1923 in Morgantown and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Phillip J. Reppy, and her parents, Attilio and Genoeffa Dorinzi.
Louise is survived by her sons Don Reppy of Rehoboth Beach, DE; Joe (Jana) Reppy of Scott Depot, WV; and Bill Reppy of Hobe Sound, FL; her grandchildren, Jason (Erin) Reppy of Lexington, SC and Kevin (Tracey) Reppy of Cornelius, NC; three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan, and Olivia Reppy; her step-grandchildren, Stephanie (Jim) Canariato of Upper Saddle River, NJ and Brad (Jessica) Hein of Mooresville, NC; and many many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded her in death by her brothers, Frank (Helen), Albert (Dolly), Carl (Victoria), John (Geraldine), Raymond (Doris), and Deno (Lena) Dorinzi; and her daughter-in-law, Elaine Reppy.
Louise was a homemaker for several years, raising three sons before she went to work outside the home at retail stores in Morgantown. She was also a seamstress who loved quilting. She made numerous quilts for several members of her family and for others in the community. She loved to play cards and other board games with her girlfriends and was a member of several monthly card clubs for at least 50 years. She was also a founding member of Morgantown Red Hats and a volunteer at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Louise loved living at Heritage Point in Morgantown with old and new friends. She moved to Delaware in August 2025 to be near family.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 10th at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1 Guthrie Lane, Morgantown from 10:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am with Rev. Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD as celebrant. Following the service a graveside committal will take place at East Oak Grove Cemetery in Morgantown.
