Lucille Mae Snider

Lucille “Lucy” Mae Snider, 78, of Morgantown, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, May 7, 2017. Lucy was born in Morgantown, WV on April 21, 1939, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Eunice Dalton Hart. She had a diverse career having worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Pajama Factory, and Sterling Faucet, along with being a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed attending church and was a member of Hope Church Ministries. Lucy also very much enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved beautiful flowers. Lucy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leo Snider “Junior”; her children: Denver (wife Melissa) Snider, Richard (wife Stephanie) Snider, Marsha (husband David) Bissett, and Brian (wife Dodie) Snider; Sister-in-law, Lois Hart; Grandchildren: Jason Smith, Andrea Snider, Seth Huggins, Cody Bissett, Garrett Bissett, Kira Nicholson, and Kyle Snider; and Great-grandchild, Mariah Bissett. In addition to her parents, Lucy is preceded in death by one son, DeWayne Snider; and siblings: Othie Hart, Mildred Frymyer and Howard Summers. Lucy was the last surviving sibling. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Morgantown Dialysis Clinic and WV Caring at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Friends and family will be received, Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, from 4-8PM and again on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10AM until the time of funeral service at 11AM with Senior Pastor Allen Donham and Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
