Lynn Margelis

Mary Lynn Margelis, 64, of Morgantown, previously of Ashburn, VA, passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Thursday June 11, 2020. She was born in Bethesda, MD on February 6, 1956 the Daughter of John Carmen Sasso and the late Mary Elizabeth (Pendy) Sasso. Lynn was a great LPN where she loved caring for her patients for over 30 years in addition to being a great mom. Mary was Roman Catholic by faith. Lynn is survived by William “Bill” Margelis, her husband of 45 years and her Son, PJ, his wife Jane, and her granddaughter, Sophia. Mary is also survived by her father, John Sasso, and her sister Lori Lydard. Lynn was preceded in death by her mother. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St, Thursday June 18, 2020 from 5-7:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church 1 Guthrie Lane, with Rev. Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati S.T.D. on Friday June 19, at 10AM Although guests are invited to come visit, they are strongly urged to abide by CDC pandemic outlines, including social distancing from one another, wearing masks and avoiding contact with others.
