Marcia Jo Benson

Marcia Jo Benson, 80, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born April 29, 1939 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Chesley Frum and Helen (Backus) Ashcraft. She was a 1957 graduate from Washington Irving HS in Clarksburg and worked for many years as an office manager at Northwestern Mutual offices in Florida and West Virginia. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and genealogy. She is survived by her three children, Rebecca Benson Bailey and her husband Ron, Stevie Benson, and Scott Benson and his wife Kelly; three grandchildren, Alexa Johnson and her husband Travis, Emily Benson, and Aubrey Benson, all of Morgantown; and a brother, Mark Frum of Clarksburg. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Betty Puskar Cancer Center, 1 Medical Center Dr., Morgantown, WV 2650.
