Mario Louis Defelice Jr.

Mario "Marty" Louis DeFelice, Jr, 57 from Morgantown, WV went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27, 2014 at his home in Riverview, FL. Marty was born on April 23, 1957, in Morgantown, WV, the son of the late Mario L. DeFelice, Sr. and Colomba C. (Mancini) DeFelice. Marty is survived by his mother Colomba DeFelice; son, Mario Louis DeFelice III and spouse Jodi of Morgantown; son Joshua J. DeFelice and partner Bob Budden of Morgantown. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Mia DeFelice and Ava DeFelice, who absolutely adored their "Poppy"; seven siblings, Tina Shinkovich and husband John of Riverview, FL, Paula Shilling and husband Curtis of Morgantown, Dianne Robinette of Fairmont, Denise Gribble of Morgantown, Anthony DeFelice and wife Kim of Morgantown, Victor DeFelice and partner Josh McCoy of Morgantown, Ann Marie Whitehair and husband Stewart of Grafton; several nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. In addition to his father, Mario L. DeFelice, Sr., he was preceded in death by his niece, Angela M. Claypole and his grandparents. He worked for several years for Chico Enterprises until he moved to Florida a year ago to enjoy the blue skies & the ocean views. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, being outdoors, watching sports, going to car shows, and his recent hobby of dancing. He will be deeply missed and we are blessed to have known him. Family and Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Saturday, November 8th from 3PM until the time of the memorial service to celebrate his life at 5:00 PM.
