Mark White Goff

Mark White Goff died in Morgantown, WV on August 21, 2016 at his home. He was born in Morgantown Dec 5, 1952 to Robert Ellsworth and Beatrice Wannetta White Goff and grew up on West Virginia Ave., in the First Ward section of town. He was a 1970 Morgantown High graduate. Mark is survived by his children, Carrina Noce of Burgettstown, PA, Christie Records of Williamsport, PA, Kasey Goff of Morgantown, Ryan Goff currently of Parris Island, SC., and Kristen Hrinda of Fairview, PA, and grandchildren Carrisa, Anthony, and Joshua Noce, Kyle and Kaleb Guthrie, Jaden Beck, Abigail and Logan Hrinda, his mother, Bea, and sisters Cherry Sprague of Lafayette, CA, Luria Sue Hamilton of Parkersburg, Vicki Phillips of Savage, MN, and brothers Kevin and Keith Salisbury, both of Morgantown, and several nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father Robert, grandparents Howard and Merle (Fortney) Goff and Denver and Luria (Summers) White, stepfather Marvin Salisbury, and by his older brother, John Goff. Mark was a polite man, easy going, loved to laugh, was very knowledgeable and could answer any Jeopardy question that came up. He enjoyed helping anyone at any time. Mark had a bigger than life personality. He loved to talk and befriended everyone he met. Mark was a good son, brother, father, and grandfather. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Wednesday, August 24th from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Junius Lewis officiating.
