Mary Ginger Austin, 77, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, in Morgantown. She was born on April 30, 1948, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Raymond Harris and Mary (McGraw) Treadway.

Mary found joy listening to bluegrass and country music and developed a love for the outdoors, particularly fishing and gardening. She was also fond of crafting, which was another way she expressed her creativity. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jeffrey Austin, sons, Jeffrey Duley, Chad Duley, and Jesse Austin; her daughter, Janet Duley (Bill Davis); step-son, Jeffrey Austin; step-daughters, Amanda Austin and Cindy Austin; grandchildren, Jeffrey Duley Jr. (Nicole), Cody Davis (Breanna), Domonic McElfresh, Alexis McElfresh, Rosie Snyder, Rebecca Austin, Zack Austin, Pickles Austin, and Eddie Zwyer; and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Wilcox (Dave) and Donna Byers, brother, Jim Treadway (Nellie); as well as several nieces and nephews and other extended family.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her grandson, Ronald Dean Duley; step-father, Paul Treadway; and siblings, Ed Harris, Jack Harris, and Paul Harris.

Mary’s memory will be honored by those who knew her kindness, strength, and generous heart.
