Mary Susan Dadisman

Mary Susan Dadisman, 83, of Morgantown, WV, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Mary Susan was born in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late Stanley E. Dadisman and Lucille Hymes Dadisman. A graduate of Morgantown High School, she dedicated her career to the Morgantown Public Library, where she was known not just for her love of books but for her congeniality, caring, and generous spirit she shared with patrons and colleagues.

For many years, she was an active member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club (BPW) of Morgantown, where she held leadership roles that gave her the opportunity to travel throughout the state. Mary Susan was also a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Morgantown.

She is survived by her brother, George (Emily) Dadisman of Morgantown, and her niece, Sarah Elizabeth Dadisman of Cleveland, Ohio. She also leaves behind many friends from the library, the BPW, her church, and the wider Morgantown community.

A private graveside service will be held at East Oak Grove Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home.
