Mary Freeland

Mary Louise Freeland, 79, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Sundale Nursing Home. Mary was born on January 6, 1941, the daughter of the late John and Buelah West. Mary enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching, puzzle books and reading. Mary is survived by her son Ed Gilbert (Patti), a daughter Carol Ann King and Debby Gilbert (whom she thought as a daughter). She is also survived by a sister Anna Lee Hissam, 5 Grandchildren Brittany Corbitt, Brandy Gilbert, Tiffani Athey, Rachel Good and Derrick Good and 5 great-grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Willis Freeland and a son Mitchell Lee Gilbert. Friends and family will be received at Goshen Baptist Church, 1070 Goshen Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508 on Saturday, February 8, at 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
