Mary Gallagher

Maureen Gallagher, 78, of Morgantown, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Wilkesboro, PA on October 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Joseph Gallagher and Regina (Finn) Gallagher. She is survived by Reid Goff, her son, Michael B. Gallagher of Morgantown; her daughter, Moira E. Goff-Taylor (Robert) of Rockville, MD; a granddaughter, Alannah Gallagher of Morgantown/Duxbury, MA; two grandsons, Benjamin and Finley Taylor of Rockville, MD; a brother, Joseph Gallagher of Chicago, IL; and a nephew, Glen Gallagher of Morgantown. The family would like to give a special thanks to Maureen’s caregivers, Rochelle, Bobbie Jo, Becky, and Courtney for their care and compassion. Maureen’s wishes for cremation will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home/Omega Crematory. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
