Maxine Todesko

Maxine Todesko, 95, of Morgantown passed away Friday, May 31, 2019, at Fitzwater’s Assisted Living of Fairmont, WV. She was born June 22, 1923, in Albright, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Nestor) Knotts. Maxine was formerly an employee of both Viking Mining and Davis-Lynch Glass Factory. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post #548 in Morgantown. She is survived by her children, Michael Todesko and wife Catherine of Arthurdale, WV, Rebecca Lesnett and husband James of Radford, VA, Brenda Sims and husband George of Morgantown; grandchildren: James Lesnett, Jr. and wife Kristen, Angela Lesnett, Michael Lesnett and wife Kaitlyn, Joseph Todesko and wife Lauren, Elizabeth Sims, and Allison Sims; and great-grandchildren: Trey Hamilton, Troy Hamilton, Kaden Myers, Ava Grace Lesnett, Jackson Lesnett, Elijah Lesnett, Penelope Lesnett, and Joseph Todesko, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Angelo Todesko; brothers: Wilber Knotts, Clint Knotts, Charles Knotts; and sisters: Gertrude Satterfield, Ruth Stahl, Louella Maxwell. Friends and family will be received Monday, June 3 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown.
