Michael Bellay

Michael Bellay, 86, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at his residence. Michael was born on October 21, 1929, the son of the late Alex Bellay and the Mary (Bakos) Bellay. He was an avid WVU fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his step daughter, Annie Welch Crawford of Star City; grandchildren, Mac and Sadie of Star City; nephew, Danny Bellay and his wife Sharon of Fairmont; and niece, Mary Ellen Bellay of Pennsylvania. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Ada Mae Welch Bellay; and his siblings, Dan, Joe, and Katie. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. Private family graveside services will take place at a later date at the Oakland Memorial Gardens in Oakland, MD.
