Michael M. Coombs

Michael M. Coombs, age 76, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026. Born on June 3, 1950, Michael was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Michael was the proud owner of Beechwood Contracting, where he made significant contributions to the construction industry. His work ethic and dedication earned him respect amongst peers and clients alike.

He is survived by his four beloved sons: Matthew Lucas, Jason Lucas, Bryan Coombs, and Joshua Coombs. Michael was also a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Nicholas Lantz, Haley Simons, and Teagan Coombs, who brought him immense joy.

Michael was a loving brother to Wayne F. Coombs III. His family and friends will forever remember him for his vibrant spirit and his passions. An avid gardener, Michael found solace in nurturing plants. He cherished his time on the golf course, or riding one of his many BMW motorcycles. A true dog lover, he shared his life with countless furry companions, each leaving paw prints on his heart.
