Nadia Bendena

Nadia (Nadezda) Bendena, 99, of Morgantown, WV, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI, passed away on June 26, 2017. Nadia was born in 1918 in Hantramck, MI, daughter of the late Demian and Mary Kuzmicki. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Marilyn Bendena. In addition to her parents, Nadia is preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Marvel, and her husband of 67 years, Harry Bendena. The family wishes to express its profound gratitude to every member of the staff of the Evergreen Assisted Living Center for the outstanding care they gave to Nadia for the last three years and especially for the overwhelming kindness, concern, and generous spirit they continually offered to both Nadia and her daughter. A private burial will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Arrangements provided by Hastings Funeral Home.
