Nancy Schramm

Nancy J. Schramm, 78, formally of Weirton, WV residing in Morgantown WV peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, with family at her home. She was born on January 30, 1941, the daughter of the late Frank and Wanda (Guenther) Fularz. Nancy graduated from Bellaire High School and went on to work as a Teller at United Bank for over 15 years. She was a member of the Weirton First Christian Church. She enjoyed participating in condo club gatherings, was an active book club member and faithfully attended cardiac rehabilitation where she made lifelong friendships. Nancy is the mother of four children and is survived by Richard Schramm and wife Susan of Westerville, OH, Amy Bookser and husband Richard of Mt Lebanon, PA, Jana Hennessey and husband Bryon of Morgantown WV, and Stacy Skidmore and husband Jason of Morgantown WV; grandchildren Jessica Davies and husband Patrick, Elizabeth and Lydia Schramm, Ricky and Alex Bookser, Aubrey Skidmore; great-grandchildren Natalie Simakis and Roth Davies; brother Robert Fularz and sister-in-law Dana Fularz of Carroll, OH; and cousins and many loved ones. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband John Michael Simakis and R. Thomas Schramm, the father of their four children. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV: 1st viewing Sat, 1/25/20 from 4-8 PM; final viewing Sun,1/26/20 from 10-11, Celebration of Life Service 11-12 officiated by Mrs. Susan Schramm preceding interment at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
