Nellie Evelyn Williams

Nellie E. (McClain) Williams, 92, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. at Windy Hill Village of Kingwood, WV. She was born October 5, 1924 in Dilliner, PA; the daughter of the late Theodore McClain, Sr. and Goldie Wamsley McClain. Nellie was a wonderful, wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her son, Brian Williams and wife Bonnie of Ormond Beach, FL.; daughters, Judy Fast and husband, Ira of Morgantown and Kim Gibson and husband Wade of Albright; granddaughter, Jennifer (Tibbs) McClelland and husband Philip of Kingwood; step grand kids; Kyle Kelly of Bruceton Mills and Spencer Kelly of Reedsville; great-grandchildren, Emma and Kate McClelland and step great-grandchild, Lilah Kelly. She is also survived by, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Burdette James “Jim” Williams, Jr; brothers, Ted, Bill and Bob McClain; sister, Virginia Neighbors. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Thursday, November 10th from 3-8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, November 11th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with her nephew, Shaun McClain officiating.
