Norma Jean Stiles

Norma Jean Stiles, 84, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016, at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born in Daybrook on November 30, 1931, the daughter of the late Patrick Poe Yost and Ida Jennette (Pethtal) Yost. She was a 1950 graduate of Clay Battelle High and owned and operated the Suburban Candy & Card Shop. Jean was a member of the Morgantown Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald Wayne Stiles; children Gregory (Kimberly) Stiles of Lock Haven PA and Jeffrey (Carol) Stiles of Bridgeport and granddaughter Brittany Anne Stiles of Lock Haven PA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Milton D. Stiles, siblings, Betty G. Stuphin, Ruby J. Tennant, Richard K. Yost, Perry A. Yost, Robert E. Yost, Donzal Yost and Lester P Yost. A special thanks to Reliable Health Care, Darla Randel, Hospice Care, Carrie, Janet, Tia and April, and to Sundale nurses and staff for the love and care given to Ms Jean. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, Thursday September 8th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Visitations will continue on Friday September the 9th from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am with Janet Flanagan officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Morgantown.
