Patricia Allen

Patricia Darlene Allen, 74, of Unity Manor, Morgantown, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born in Morgantown on May 24, 1939, the daughter of the late George Lantz and the late Mabel (Karlen) Lantz. Survivors include her siblings, Gail Lantz and his wife Carol of Morgantown, and Judy Daft of Masontown; and many nieces and nephews including Michael Lantz of Morgantown; a great-nephew, Gavin Lantz of Morgantown; an uncle, Rev. Fred Lantz of Wadsworth, OH; and two aunts, Edna Lantz of Westover and Joann Lantz of Terra Alta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Lantz. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo at the Granville Fire Department. At the request of her family, no funeral home visitation will be held, and Mrs. Allen's wishes for cremation and the donation of her organs to benefit other lives through the Center for Organ Recovery and Education, have been honored.
