Patricia Weaver

Patty Weaver, 86, of Sabraton, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Patty was born in Weston West Virginia, on April 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Gerald Moore and Gwendolyn Davidson Moore. She was a long time glass cutter working in several glass factories in North Central, West Virginia, and retired from Gentile Glass in Star City in 1993. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge, trips to the beach and spending time with her grandkids and family. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Connie Bragg and her husband, Larry; grandchildren Brenda Hayes and husband, Scott, and Becky Davisson and husband, Chris; great grandchildren Jacob Hayes and Whitney Heironimus, Laura and Shawn Davisson; siblings Judy Shuttlesworth, Mary Alice Ebert and husband, Don and Janice Light as well as several good friends. In addition to her parents, Patty was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Weaver. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, on Wednesday, December 6 from 4 PM – 8pm and again on Thursday, December 7th from 9 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor John Brosky officiating.
