Peggy Elizabeth Summers

Peggy E. Summers, 60, of Morgantown, passed away June 15, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Peggy was born on February 27, 1957 in Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late Cecil McDonald and Marie McDonald Nicholson. She loved traveling, playing bingo, and attending auctions. Peggy was very skilled at intricate crafts including floral arrangements and framing. She is survived by her husband, Dewain Summers; children: Shawn Summers and wife Kelly, David Hilling and wife Sadie, and Crystal Graham and husband Dan; grandchildren: Shanna Kimmell, Corbin Hilling and wife Lindsey, Cortlee and Cora Hilling, Mariesa Dalton, Lindsay and Walker Berkshire, Kylee, Karly, and Kayden Summers; 3 great grandchildren; siblings: Cecil, Stephanie, Janet, Ruth, Michael, and Jeff. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her step-father, James Nicholson, and her sister, Karen. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Sunday, June 18, from 5-8PM. Visitation will continue at Nicholson Chapel Church on Monday, June 19, at 10AM until the time of service at 11AM with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating.
