Quentin Knight

Quentin Dale Knight, 89, of Bruceton Mills, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Born in Grant Town, WV, on September 6, 1930, Quentin was one of eight children of the late Hubert and Zelda (Foster) Knight. Retired from WVU Housing, Quentin was active in his church, Avery United Methodist, and in the community before moving to Bruceton Mills. He was a Mountaineer fan always and a proud parent, grandparent and great grandparent. He was much loved by family and friends and will be missed by all. Quentin is survived by son, Kevin L. Knight & spouse, Lisa Rocovich Knight, of Worthington, WV; daughter, Susan Knight Meyn, & spouse Kenneth Meyn of Medina, OH; grandchildren: Caleb P. Knight & spouse, Rhonda, Margaret “Maggie” Knight Shreve & spouse, Joshua; Sarah Knight Rogers & spouse, Ian, Joshua M Lester & spouse, Molly, and Garrett M Lester; great grandchildren, Isaac Shreve &Finley Knight. In addition to his parents, Quentin was preceded in death by his wife, Medora “Peg” Mason Knight, and one son, Dale Keith Knight. A memorial service will be held at Avery United Methodist Church, 1152 Cheat Road, Morgantown, on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Quentin, your life was a blessing and a treasure.
