Randall Gary "Skip" Champine, Sr. 58 of LaMesa Village, Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Monongalia General Hospital. Skip was born in Bennington, VT on February 26, 1956, a son of Betty Lee Linger Champine of Morgantown, and the late Randall Howard Champine. Survivors include his fiancée, Christine Elaine Carlyle at home; his son, Randall Gary Champine, Jr., of Mannington; three step-children, Stanley Ware of Morgantown, Aimee McIe of Morgantown and Timothy McIe of Grafton; four grandchildren, Chantel, Landon, Kolt and Leilah McIe; two sisters, Shirley Crabtree and her husband John of Morgantown and Theresa Hodge and her husband Roger of Rivesville; and his brother, Steve Champine of Morgantown. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Champine of 2002, and his daughter-in-law, Andrea Coffman. Skip worked for several years at Suncrest Furniture and also was a drywall hanger. He was a very family oriented man who dearly loved his grandchildren, as well as camping and riding his motorcycle. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Saturday, March 15th from 10:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon Pastor David Velickoff officiating.
