Ray Garland

Ray Charles Garland, 49, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, at J W Ruby Memorial Hospital. Ray was born on February 24, 1970, the son of Jack and Joyce Haught. Ray was a member of Eight Mile Ridge Church of Christ. He was an avid Steelers and WVU football fan. Ray was a caring and loving man who always enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his Companion: Patty Ault; Granddaughters: Amy McDonald and husband Charles, Makenzie McDonald; Nieces: Rachel Tamra Stevens and husband Mark, Brenna Mathias (Gus), Micalynn (Mikey); Special Brothers-in-law: Marvin Dalton, Jr Dalton, Duke Dalton, and Ray Dalton and wife Rosemary, Foster parents, Joyce and Jack Haught; and a brother Jackie Lee. Ray is preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Tennant. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
