Reba Opalene Priest, 89, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Priest was born in Tishamingo City, MS on June 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Francis Kent and Ola E. (Stockton) Kent. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charlie Priest. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She is survived by her two children, James L. Kent and his wife Vicki and Audrey Graham and her husband Keith; grandchildren, Jason J. Kent and his wife Cory and Alex Kent; great grandchildren, Jacob, Alley, and Lincoln Kent; sister, LaVale Papineau and her husband Bruno. In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Gene Kent and sister, Eva Carson. Friends and family will be received at the Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Friday, November 7th from 3 PM until the time of the funeral service at 5 PM with Rev. Dr. Gary E. Helms officiating. Private interment will follow at a later date at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Epilepsy Society, 342 N. Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06117-2507.
