Ricki Dawn Sayre

Ricki Dawn Sayre, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday January 12th at Wheeling Hospital. Ricki was born on April 11th, 1945 in Charleston, WV, the daughter to the late Edith Floe (Sanders) and Thomas George Knotts. She was Christian by faith and was a very active member of her church. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Dawn Phillips of Harrisonburg, VA, Angela Gross of Moundsville, WV, and Mindi McDonald and her spouse, Shawn, of Morgantown, WV; 8 grandchildren: Stephanie Sayre, Collin Williams, Jessica Shaw and spouse, Steven, Amanda Leech and spouse, Matt, Kayla Grose, Kara Grose, Marissa Jarvis and spouse, Dakota, and Jada E. McDonald; and 6 great grandchildren: Parker Hartley, Emily Shaw, Alexander shaw, Frankie Leech, Mirah Leech, and Liam Jarvis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jay Sayre Sr.; her son, Jay Sayre Jr.; and her stepfather, Frank Crow. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St. on Monday, January 18th, from 4- 6 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 19th, at 11:30 a.m. at Nicholson Cemetery with Rev.
