Robert Godwin

On Friday, July 19, 2019, Robert Allan Godwin, loving husband, and father, passed away at the age of 80. Robert was born on April 19, 1939, in Cumberland, MD to Carl and Virginia Godwin. Robert had a passion for Mountaineer sports, bowling, and fishing. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was known for his love of life and his great laugh. In addition to his wife of 35 years, Linda Sue (Drake) Godwin, he is survived by his children: Joey Antonini and wife, Janet, of Morgantown; Terry and wife, Sara, of Dallas, TX; Todd and wife, Beth, of Gainesville, FL; Stacy and significant other, Dave, of State College, PA; Tracy of Morgantown; eight grandchildren: Tyler, Allison, Matthew, Blake, Christopher, Zoie, Ryan, Trevor and three great-grandchildren: Landon, Brody and Chace. According to the family's wishes, Hastings Funeral Home will be providing cremation services. At a later date, the family will have a celebration of Robert's life.
